Make a Difference Campaign
You are invited to join our fundraising event during the afternoon of May 27th at the Chequers Inn in Breaston.
Raffle tickets are now on sale with three top prizes; a hamper of spirits, a selection of wine and a hamper of craft ales. We will also be holding a Tombola during the event and would be grateful for any donations of chocolate, wine, toiletry sets, tins of biscuits or items which we can use as prizes.
We would like to thank all musicians for volunteering both their time and expertise and our very own PJ, also known as Mr Musicakes, for organising the event. Together with residents, families, friends and staff at the Grange your kind hearts will ‘make a difference’ to Treetops and Ward 2. Thank you.
The Coronation of King Charles III
Celebrations for the King’s Coronation commence on Friday 5th May and continue over the weekend including a Bank Holiday on Monday the 8th. The celebrations will be televised throughout and details will be posted in both lounges so programmes can be enjoyed by everyone. We are looking forward to a Coronation Lunch and hope you will all enjoy a wonderful weekend. Three cheers for the King!
Themed Teas
This month Karen and our amazing kitchen team are hosting two themed teas with an American Diner on Friday the 12th and Alice in Wonderland on Friday the 26th. We look forward to seeing their fancy dress and the decorations our residents create for the dining room!
May Birthdays
This month we wish Doreen P many happy returns of the day on May 1st and Ivy a very Happy Birthday on the 30th. Everyone at the Grange sends their best wishes for the best of days.
Staff News
We welcome Natalie and Mia to our Care Team and Amy to our Domestic Team. We hope you will be very happy at the Grange. We would also like to wish Rowan from the Kitchen Team every success as he embarks on his new career with the British Army.
