This year our Summer Fayre on June 22nd has a vintage theme with Johnny Victory joining the Grange with an afternoon of nostalgia from the 1940s and classic songs from ‘The Proms’. The fayre will take place in our beautiful gardens, however in the event of poor weather we will bring the sunshine indoors and hold the fayre inside the Grange.  A notice regarding additional parking will be displayed before the event.

We hope you will enjoy the many games and browse around the stalls to find yourself a little bargain.  Light refreshments will be available in the dining room and the bbq will be sizzling too.  The sale of tickets for the grand raffle will commence on Monday 10th June until the draw is held at the end of the fayre. Tickets are £1 per strip of 5 with some amazing prizes to be won!

Our fundraising efforts are truly blessed by the kindness of staff.  Keith has very bravely volunteered for the ‘Fundraising Challenge’ this year and has offered to shave off his hair and moustache to raise funds.  Our hairdresser, Louise, has also agreed to complete the task!  Keith’s sponsorship forms can be found in the foyer and staff office.

Also on the afternoon of Tuesday 11th June both Zac and Grace have volunteered to hold a ‘Fancy Dress Car Wash’ to raise money for the Resident’s Fund. We have introduced a booking system to avoid delays with 20minute slots beginning at 2.30pm.  The booking form can be found by the main notice board.  There are a few slots available but they are going fast! Donations of £5 per car (wash, wax, wheels)

We are also holding a children’s drawing competition and details can be found on the notice

board.  The winner will be announced at the close of the fayre and receive a £10 one4all gift voucher and crafting items.

We have a Seaside Event on Wednesday July 3rd when our crafters will display the ART at the HeART items they have created, along with  postcards from the children’s competition. On the day we have traditional entertainment, a visit from the ice cream van, seaside games and a visit from the Mayor so please put the date firmly in your diary. We would like to invite family, friends and staff to another lovely afternoon from 2pm.

In the meantime we look forward to seeing  everyone at the SUMMER FAYRE and making it an afternoon of fun and laughter for all.
